This table shows how much you have lost since your pension became frozen, assuming that you have the full British basic pension.

If you have an additional pension, (SERPS or graduated benefit), your loss will be proportionately greater.

All the amounts are expressed in pounds. Because of the great variations in the exchange rate from time to time, no attempt is made to express these amounts in $A or any other local currency.

Column 1 is the year your pension became frozen; either the year you started drawing your pension or the year you emigrated, if you were already drawing it.

Column 2 is the weekly amount of the basic pension in pounds.

Column 3 is the total amount you have lost as the result of freezing, up to and including the fiscal year 2011.

How much will you lose?

This table shows how much you will lose over the years as your pension freezes.
It is based on a pension of £100 per week at the date of your retirement or the date of emigration if later.
